NURSERY MANAGER
Natalie Evershed (Maternity Leave)

I've worked in childcare for over 10 years, gaining my Level 3 in 2016. Being a parent myself I strive to enable my team to provide the very best care and education at Pippa's house for our youngest citizens in an environment that fosters creativity, encourages emotional wellbeing and supports each child as an individual. I'm always ready and happy to create and maintain strong, positive parent partnerships based on trust and mutual respect. Childcare is my passion and in my spare time, you'll find me exploring the outdoors with my child and laughing the weekend away with my family.
DEPUTY MANAGER
Jemma King

Hello, my name is Jemma, I joined the Pippa’s House family in 2022. Since joining I have progressed into my Deputy Manager & SENCo role. As a deputy manager I love being able to give support to my team, motivating and watching their accomplishments. As the companies SENCo my passion is bringing experiences to all children, allowing all children the ability to succeed. As the SENCo it is my role to support not only the children but the families too, ensuring they have the support and care in place.
Weybridge nursery is committed to supporting children on their journey to becoming advocates for themselves
Educationally planned activities in these rooms are tailored to the children's current interests, promoting all seven areas of learning and development outlined in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Weybridge is committed to supporting children on their journey to becoming advocates for themselves, fostering independence through imaginative play and incorporating self-care stations in each room. The nursery also provides extra-curricular activities such as sports and music, enhancing interaction, learning, and enjoyment for the children, all included in the fees.
One of the special times of day at Weybridge is mealtimes, where children gather to enjoy home-cooked, nutritious food. This shared experience not only nourishes their bodies but also develops communication skills and independence as they make selections and self-serve, exploring various flavours and textures.
Our settling babies
Our inviting downstairs spaces offer a nurturing environment where our babies can settle in, feel secure, and gradually separate from their caregivers. Our main focus is on creating a warm yet stimulating atmosphere that fosters strong connections and initial steps towards independence. We understand the importance of communicating with parents to ensure that established routines are respected as the newest additions to our family adjust to nursery life.
Our curious toddlers
Our toddlers are natural explorers, always eager to investigate their surroundings. They have access to various loose parts and authentic resources to engage in self-directed play and broaden their understanding of the world. Messy play activities enrich their sensory experiences and ignite their imaginations. Developing their physical skills and social confidence, they learn to interact with peers, while outdoor play contributes to their gross motor skill development, coordination and confidence.
Our independent preschoolers
Our older children follow a structured curriculum designed to prepare them for school. They refine their prewriting and prereading skills through tracing, improving their pencil grip, and engaging in discussions about stories. With their lengthening attention spans, they start to tackle more challenging and extended activities. Art activities promote self-expression and decision-making, while working alongside friends builds social skills and teamwork. As they prepare for the next phase of their educational journey, we assist our preschoolers in mastering essential self-care routines to ensure a seamless transition to school.
The nursery takes pride in creating a creative, stimulating, and inspiring environment for all children to learn and grow. The dedicated team of practitioners at Weybridge is passionate about supporting the children to blossom on their learning journey, no matter what their starting point. The management team is equally dedicated to supporting staff progression in their careers, providing ongoing mentorship and support.
